The Miss America Organization reported that the reigning queen’s Kentucky Derby hat won over the hearts of the financial wizards at, of all places, Forbes magazine.
The press release said, “Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell attended the Churchill Downs 142nd Kentucky Derby and surrounding events last week in Louisville, KY. Betty walked the red carpet in a stylish Joseph Ribkoff ensemble and her stunning derby hat designed by Willow Tree, which made Forbes “Best (and Biggest) Hats at the 2016 Kentucky Derby.”
