There were cocktails, nibbles… and models on Sunday, July 24.
Guests climbed aboard the Great Escape out of Old Saybrook, Conn. and sailed out on to the waters as Tina’s Fine Lingerie and Swimwear unveiled its 2017 calendar. The glossy publication is full of models wearing a bevy of swimwear and lingerie from the Middletown store.
The store’s owner Tina Fine presented each guest with their own copy of the newly minted calendar as they boarded the yacht.
On board, some guests sipped their drinks of choice as the yacht glided over the water. Meanwhile, models—some in this year’s calendar and some hoping to be in the 2018—worked on test shots with the photographers featured in this year’s calendar (Royal Scott, Mark Johnson, and this author) and one tapped for next year’s (Mike Obre).

With the calendar now revealed for public consumption, there will be a calendar signing event at Middletown’s annual Bike Night: Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. The signing will be at Tina’s Fine Lingerie and Swimwear on 394 Main St. in Middletown. Some of the model’s will be on hand to meet their fans and sign autographs on the calendars.
Portions of the proceeds from the sale of the calendar will support The Connecticut Breast Health Initiative in New Britain.
