Your age doesn’t matter if you’re a runway model.
If you’re younger or the typical age for a fashion model, you have to get your makeup done. You have to get your hair done. And you have to finetune your runway walks, learn where the lights are, and where the end of the catwalk.
It’s what needs to be done so you accurately reflect your designer’s vision. And it’s what you need to do so you don’t end up on a photographer’s blooper reel and become the wrong kind of memorable moment for the crowds on hand for the runway event.
