With a collection of all white, with touches of pastel pinks and lavenders, and silhouettes that echoed 1950s proms and weddings, Crinkled Chiffon’s collection at Hartford Fashion Week in Hartford, Conn. Oct. 15 made one think of the movie, “Peggy Sue Got Married.”
The movie starring Kathleen Turner and Nicholas Cage was set in the age of sock hops and high school romance.
And the collection walking down the runway at Union Station radiated romance. The little accessory touches such as the white fishnet veils added to the throwback feel of the garments.
