On the runway, the focus tends to be on the garments and the models.
But before the designer helps the model to step into their latest garments or the models take that first step on to the catwalk before a crowd of fashionistas, the hair and makeup artists have to do their magic. Without hair and makeup in fashion, the fantasy of style falls flat.
During Hartford Fashion Week, Tainted Inc. on Arbor Street, Hartford, Conn. took on many of the designers’ models, including Matthew Reisman on Saturday and all of the looks presented at HFW’s VIP night on Thursday night (they were busy on Friday night as well.)
On Friday night, Forever Flawless Artist (Brittany Monico Martin) and the stylists from Dana Bartone Salon met with the models from Troy Anthony Designs at the Homewood Suites by Hilton on Asylum Avenue.
