Why do you like modeling?
Modeling is my form of artistry and finesse. I love being photogenic and expressing myself through fashion and beauty. I love meeting and networking with new people when I go on go-sees and collaborating and harmonizing with the make-up teams, stylist, designers, and photographers as were all expressing our art while still having fun. Modeling is like a headache pill, in which it helps me take my mind off the world full of stress. Modeling is a something I have a passion for and when I’m modeling, I am in a whole different world where it’s just me and the camera or me and the runway. That is when “Cece” comes forth.
Your fashion icons and why?
My fashion icons are Miss J and Coco Rocha because they both display such obtuse and perplexing outfits. They’re usually over the top and colorful. Most of the outfits I see, I just love and wish I can wear and model them. Also, Coco Rocha is my inspiration because she also includes dance within her pictures, in which I am a professional dancer as well. The outfits they wear directly show their fashionable animated personality. It’s a reminder that you have to feel good in what you are wearing and love yourself and be able to create your own trend.
Your favorite designer and why?
My favorite designers are Donna Karan and Dolce and Gabbana because their looks are fierce and their clothing is eye-striking and breathtaking. Their clothes are not just something you go pick up from the store. However, if you’re wearing their clothes, you must be going to a special elegant event.
Describe your wardrobe choices when you’re not modeling?
I have four closets and seven drawers of clothes, so it really depends on where I am going for the day. A nice pencil skirt/dress or gown with heels for a more formal or strict event, or jeans with boots and a nice blouse and kimono for a more relaxed event, or sneakers with jeans and a bomber jacket for a more athletic event, or simply sweatpants and hoodie with sneakers if I’m just running out of the house. However. I believe in representing myself and family when I go out, so I make sure I look my best at all times.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is eating. But one major guilty pleasure is that I love to eat cookie dough, Oreos, graham cracker, fudge and caramel drizzled, cinnamon infused ice cream at night.
The one thing you can never leave home without?
I can never leave home with my cell phone and my wallet. I always need my cell phone because I feel lost or naked without it since I use it for almost everything and I need my wallet because I am always spending money whether its for food, clothes, etc.
Favorite music?
I love R&B because I love the smooth flowing beats that mix with the featured artist’s voice. And I love reggae because of the upbeat that exudes positive energy. I also love hip hop/rap.
Favorite food?
I love all food. Food is so delicious. However, if I must be specific, steak and shrimp is my favorite!
