MIAMI, Fla.– December 2016 marked the 15 year anniversary of Art Basel Miami. North America’s foremost international modern and contemporary art fair has called Miami Beach home since 2001. Art Hearts Fashion kicked off the week for the opening night kick off party at Spectrum Art Fair. The night presented by Planet Fashion TV featured local and international couture designers Yas Couture by Elie Madi, House of LiJon, Mister Triple X, Willfredo Gerardo and Rocky Gathercole.
Art Hearts Fashion showcased on the opening night of Art Basel Week at Spectrum and Red Dot, Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District at 1700 NE 2nd. Elie Madi opened the night with amazing couture creations all the way from Lebanon. Following was chainmail art fashion by House of LiJon sculpted couture. Mister Triple X a fan favorite did not dissapoint with edgy streetwear and his signature sexy attire. Miami Local Willfredo Gerardo brought glam evening gowns and the finale of the night was none other than Rocky Gathercole bringing his amazing art inspired fashion. Art Hearts Fashion has been a fixture on the global fashion scene; regularly producing fashion shows at New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week as well as LA Fashion Week and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week China. The night featured live musical acts, performance art entertainment, restaurant tastings, beverages by LaCroix Sparkling Water, and cocktails sponsored by Jack Daniels, Korbel Champagne, Whispering Angel Rose, Herredura Tequila, John Waitlings Premium Rum, and red and white wine varieties by European Winery of the year Marques De Riscal.
The highlight of the night was the beauty direction lead by April Love Pro team. April invited world-renowned hair stylist Myo Lai to create avant-garde hair looks providing art and fashion fans an explosion of eye candy to kick off the week. The fashion show was produced by Art Hearts Fashion with backstage direction by Didi Roberts, front of house by Rosy Muto with Guest Management services powered by Gjests.
