Beautiful brides in waiting

The Bristol, Southington, and Plainville Observers, based in Southington, Conn., are preparing for their annual bridal guide.

And to prepare for the periodical, the teams at the International Institute of Cosmetology in Plainville (which also has a campus in Wethersfield) put on their hair and makeup creativity to the test as they illustrated trends and possibilities for the brides-to-be.

The finished looks will be published at the end of February in the Observers. But here is a look behind the scenes as models Alyssa Anderson, Juliette, and Sami Anderson were transformed into beautiful brides.
