If the number of girls in fairy tale gowns and crowns were any indication, the princesses met in stories that begin, “Once upon a time…” are the first style icons we are exposed to.
And on recent Sunday, at the Annual Princess Meet and Greet at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville, Conn., young women dressed as fairy tale princesses, standing on pedestals, to help a gaggle of young girls experience a little royal fashion.
The event, which included activities beyond meeting the princesses of a myriad of fairy tales, was a benefit for Southington Community Services and the Children’s Medical Center Oncology Department.
