The young women of the Miss Connecticut family and their guests put on their formal and semi-formal best for the scholarship programs annual gala.
The party, which this year was held at Grand Oak Villa in Oakville, Conn., serves as the opportunity for the latest group of Miss Connecticut and Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen contestants to gather to be introduced to their circle at large. The contestants wore gowns worthy of a ball, accessorized with their crown and sash.
The evening also served as informal farewell to the current title holders, Miss Connecticut Alyssa Taglia and Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen Samantha Anderson who will give up their crowns next month.
After a parade of introductions, the contestants and guests sat down for a dinner, followed by an evening of dancing and fun.
