A send-off party for Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen Brooke Cyr of Waterbury was held Friday night, July 14 at the Tunxis Plantation in Farmington. The Holy Cross High School student offered a peek at her evening gown and talent competition outfits to friends and family. The 15-year-old leaves for Orlando, Fla. for the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen competition next Friday. Preliminary competition is held July 25 to 27. The final competition is July 29.
