The temperatures are still kissed by summer.
But Cinder and Salt, with stores in Canton and Middletown, is embracing fall with its latest collection of casual wear.
A sneak peek of the collection was given at Cinder and Salt’s recent August Happy Hour in Canton.
Bristol’s Rachel DeCavage, the brains behind Cinder and Salt, said the new line takes a page from some of her summer best sellers and translates them into fall palettes.
So the new collection, she said, offers her original hand-drawn designs (with a Sharpie) screenprinted on organic fabrics in colors such as cardinal red, forest greens, and tropical blues. The designs also build on her Camp collection, which offers imagery of mountains, moose, and whatever you can think of when you heed your inner outdoorsman head into the woods.
Cinder and Salt is located at The Shoppes at Farmington Valley, 110 Albany Turnpike, Canton 520 Main St, Middletown.
For a closer look at the fall collection, Cinder and Salt will official present its collection and a trunk show on Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. in its Middletown store.
