The Latina Elegance organization held its inaugural pageant on Nov. 18 and crowned five new queens.
The pageant was held at the East Hartford Community Cultural Center and contestants walked across the stage in fashionable party dresses for the opening number, swimsuits or athletic wear, and elegant evening gowns befitting the pageant title.
The contestants crowned were:
Josneris Rodriguez- Baby Latina Elegance
Aracelis Melendez- Little Latina Elegance
Crystal M. Roldan- Preteen Latina Elegance
Yarlianis Rodriguez- Teen Latina Elegance
Lianisbeth Burgos- Miss Latina Elegance.
