There was bling and glamour in the capitol city Sunday night worthy of the Oscars.
Guests donned their stylish finery at the AIDS Connecticut Red Carpet Experience on March 4 at the Spotlight Theatres in Hartford.
At the annual event, first of all, guests were invited to watch the annual Academy Awards on one of the big movie screens.
However, just as importantly, in the cinema’s lobby, guests indulged in nibbles and libations from the best restaurants in the region and took the Hollywood-esque opportunity to strut around in their stylish gowns and tuxes.
Later on in the evening, many of the guests who were designated by organizers as the most stylish had a chance to show off their selections for the party guests during breaks in the action at the Academy Awards presentation.
The funds raised at the Sunday night event benefited ACT.
