There are pageants all across the country on any given weekend where young girls set into motion their dreams of becoming the next Miss America or Miss USA.
One of those pageants was held in Southington, Conn. on June 10—the Junior Miss Southington pageant–where girls demonstrated their talents and exhibited their poise in evening gowns before an audience of family and friends. Earlier in the day, they demonstrated their interview skills before a panel of judges.
Finally, the girls were able to experience the excitement of being crowned and draping on the sash for their new titles.
The winners of the Junior Miss Southington pageant were Teen Miss Southington Angelina Paulus, Pre-Teen Miss Southington Camryn Patton, Junior Miss Southington Alexis Merrifield, Petite Miss Southington Manette Masse, co-Petite Miss Southington Genesis-Young Wilson, and co-Petite Miss Southington Ganna Williamson.
