The evening gown phase of the Miss Connecticut and Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen competitions has traditionally been about showing the contestants’ poise and style.
After the young women earn their local titles, they spend considerable time looking for the perfect gown to wear on the next step to hopefully a national crown. And, thanks to social media, they do a happy “Boomerang” dance to celebrate their find.
On June 8 and 9 at the Miss Connecticut and Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen contests, the young women showed off the fruits of their gown search before judges, family, friends, and others.
This is what walked across the stage at The Palace Theater in Waterbury, Conn.
