A couple of fashion events are hitting Connecticut locations this weekend.
On Saturday, Aug. 25, from 5 to 10 p.m., West Indian Girls Rock presents Blanc, An Epic All White Day Party at Heaven Skate Park in downtown Hartford.
You must wear white, no exceptions.

On Sunday, Aug. 26 from 6 to 11 p.m., there is the Xperience Trendy Walk. The event, which will feature local fashion designers, will be held at Bill Miller’s Castle, 834 East Main St., Branford. Tickets are available at www.RickyDavista.com. Funds will go toward #stridesagainstcancer.
Diamond Fashion Week’s preview event was cancelled last weekend due to the unsettled weather. This Sunday at 5 p.m., the organization is going to give it a go again at Savin Rock in West Haven. The preview on the boardwalk is free.
Sunday’s presentation is a preview for the All White Fashion Affair planned by the group for Saturday, Sept. 29. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., show begins at 6 p.m. at 370 Highland St., West Haven.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 for VIP.
