The Two Year Anniversary of Workspace Collective is fast-approaching, and everyone is gearing up to celebrate on Saturday, September 8th from 12PM to 6PM. This celebratory event, called Buzz + Buy, will include shopping, meeting designers at their own pop-up tables, and watching them demonstrate their own unique craft, a fashion show, and some special signature cocktails to enjoy while shopping.
Workspace Collective is a unique retail + design space, where owner Meagan Neville, works with an array of fashion and lifestyle designers, ranging from artisan workshops in rural countries, to local makers here in the United States. The common thread is that each maker focuses on sustainable design, sourcing and utilizing natural fibers and fabrics, upcycled materials, and preserving cultural traditions. During the Buzz + Buy Event, you will find local makers working on Jewelry making, leatherwork and soap-making, just to name a few of the demonstrations taking place during the day.
To top off the celebrations, there will be a Fashion Show during the event which will include some of the looks from Danbury Fashion Week, that was hosted this past July 2018.
