Take a train out of New York City or out of Hartford, Conn. and ride down Fairfield County, Connecticut. When you get to Danbury, step off at the station and take a journey downtown.
Tucked away at 287 Main St. is a place called Workspace Collective (
http://www.workspacecollective.co/) owned by fashion industry escapee Meagan Neville, who works with local fashion and lifestyle designers and artisans, using sustainable commodities and sourcing, natural fibers and fabrics, and upcycling to create fashions that are unique, funky, and typically one of a kind.
And shop your heart out in a socially conscious way that supports local creatives at the same time.
