Miss Nutmeg’s Outstanding Teen Emerson Forbes organized the fashion show, which benefited the Children’s Miracle Network and Darling June Walker Project. The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is part of CMN. The Darling June – The Walker Project is focused on designing walkers appropriate for developing children.
Participating stores in the fashion show at the event held at Anthony’s Ocean View Fine Catering in New Haven were Tiny Threads Boutique in North Haven, The Dressing Room Boutique in Wallingford and Madison, Dazzle Boutique in Oxford, Dynamite Designs of Wallingford, and Diva Kidz of Milford .
Alyssa Rae Taglia, a former Miss Connecticut and the traffic anchor at WTNH, served as emcee.
Models included Forbes herself as well as Miss Connecticut Bridget Oei and Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen Morgan Mancini, as well as several other Miss Connecticut organization titleholders.
