Time is on the mind of designers Charles and Ron.
At the designing duo’s runway show at Art Hearts Fashion on Feb. 6 at the Angel Orenzanz Foundation during New York Fashion Week, clocks figured prominently in the prints and adornments of the latest collection.
There were mantle clocks, wall clocks, pocket watches, clock hands, clock numbers, clock filigrees and more. Some of the references were obvious. Some were subtle.
The women’s and men’s collection offered elegant and formal silhouettes with only a handful of nods to casual wear and ready to wear.
