Giannina Azar provided a glamorous collection that drew from some of the most glitzy moments of fashion’s past.
At the designer’s runway show at Art Hearts Fashion during New York Fashion Week in February, the collection of gowns offered touches of 1920s art deco, 1930s Busby Berkley Hollywood musicals and 1970s Studio 54 disco and Bob Mackie wardrobed television variety shows.
The collection from the Dominican designer would have looked right at home on musical divas such as Diana Ross and Cher in their younger days.
