The Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization Board of Directors announced its new professional and personal development Series.
These will be webinars about a variety of topics hosted by experts in their respective fields.
These sessions are free and open to the public.
The first event in the series is “Financial Planning 101,” which will be held Monday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
For this initial offering, Geoff Kanner, Certified Financial Planner with Kanner Financial Services, will provide information on personal financial best practices. What is a Roth IRA? What are some ways I can pay down my student loan debt? How do I make my savings work for me?
Attendees can specify what they are interested in learning by filling out this form.
