Fashion models have a perceived image. And Jamie Johnson wasn’t sure if she fit that image.
That left her with some trepidation when she dipped her toes into the world of fashion modeling this past year.
“I was excited but scared to start because I thought that I wasn’t good enough or I wasn’t what tall enough or that I felt ‘too big’ -I wasn’t,” said the recent winner of the Magnifique Showcase organized by former “America’s Next Top Model” Victoria Henley in Tennessee on May 22.
“Through my insecurities, I was able to push through and put myself out there,” said Jamie. “Then through that I was able to walk the runway in Tennessee… I’m very excited to go forth and do more events/bookings, etc. in my career (in fashion) modeling.”
