When Grace Ruby, 8, stepped onto the runway for the Magnifique Showcase, she was stepping into a new world.
Grace, who was one of the winners of the event organized by former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley, was making her debut appearance in a fashion show. But the third grader said she enjoyed the experience and can’t wait for her next appearance.
Grace’s mom Carolyn said her daughter, who is in the third grade gifted program back in Social Circle, Ga, is an avid reader. She also enjoys competing in pageants, is a cheerleader and takes tumbling classes.
Grace also likes to be active by heading out into the great outdoors where she likes to hike, fish and camp, said mom.
In addition to being a model, Grace is looking forward to being a nurse when she grows up.
