Someone can be poetry in motion, the aphorism goes.
However, Tampa, Fla.’s Krystal “Gypsy” Orellano is a poet in fashion.
A recent winner of Victoria Henley’s Magnifique Showcase for models and fashion held in Florida’s Downtown Disney, Krystal said she is a spoken word artist poet, writer, model and author of two books, “The Evolution of Poetry” and “Quench.”
She has appeared on the “Poetry Is” radio show. She has been a featured poet to many spoken word events in the Tampa Bay community. She said she is working on some creative nonfiction, and her next book– and first novel- “The Lover’s Passion Lounge.”
She is a double threat having been published in both fashion and poetry magazines across the world, including the U.K. and China.
As a model, Krystal has participated in Miss Global Fashion Model, runway show, New York Fashion Week, Orlando Fashion Week, Prolific Magazine and Amazing Magazine.
