Seventeen-year-old Alexandra Chastain is having an active modeling career. But she has an eye on a bigger prize down the road.
The high school junior said, “I have been blessed to walk the runway for several designers. I walked in New York Fashion Week, September 2021 for House of Barretti and Hemistry. In December 2021, I was a part of the Magnifique Fashion Showcase where I walked the runway for several designers.”
Magnifique is organized by Victoria Henley, a former contestant on “America’s Next Top Model.”
“My goal is to continue my modeling career for as long as possible but also to get a college education majoring in psychology,” said Alexandra. “I want to someday be a psychiatrist who works with children/young adults with mental health struggles.”
In addition to modeling, Alexandra said, she has been enjoying an opportunity to be an influencer. “(I) have done reviews for some pretty amazing companies, products, and designs.”
Setting the stage for modeling, Alexandra said, “I competed in pageants since I was 5 years old all over the United States and won several national titles.”
Additionally, feeding her competitive spirit, Alexandra has been a competitive dancer for eight years. “I compete in hip hop, contemporary and jazz. “Our hip hop dance won the national championship in July 2021.”
