Ydamys Simo offered up a celebratory collection full of joy for young adults at Runway7 during New York Fashion Week on Jan. 10.
The fall/ winter collection offered touches of “The Greatest Showman,” “Encanto” and the happy go-lucky spirit of the Roaring 20s.
The line seemed to offer itself as an antidote to the gray days that enveloped the world the past two years. It also served as a welcome back party for New York Fashion Week, which was in a guarded mood when it actually returned to in-person shows last September post-COVID.
