Miss America is in full swing with two nights of preliminary competitions completed on Dec. 12 and 13 at the Mohegan Sun Earth Expo and Convention Center in Uncasville. The final night of competition is Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.
During the first two nights, Miss Connecticut Sylvana Gonzalez competed on stage in the red carpet, social impact statement and talent categories. She also had the opportunity to present herself to a national audience for the first time.
This has been Gonzalez’s week so far.
