The canon of Miss America asks titleholders to honor the four points of the crown, “Scholarship. Success. Style. Service.”
On a recent afternoon, the reigning Miss Connecticut’s Teen Peyton Troth demonstrated her fluency in one of those points — style — by selecting three outfits that reflect her own personal style.
Miss Connecticut’s Teen titleholder competes for the Miss America’s Teen crown each year. The title is part of the Miss America family.
Peyton will crown her successor during the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization’s rescheduled dates for the competition, June 14-18 at the Mohegan Sun.
