The assured collection shown by Hartford brand Sade Nicole at the “Life in Color: Motherland” runway show offered more inference than direct quotes of the chosen theme of African creativity established for the event.
The collection stayed within the brand’s preferred lane of sportswear and casualwear. But a few of the prints, and some of the earth tones, used on the modern silhouettes paid homage to the spirit of the evening.
“Motherland,” which celebrated the creativity from the African continent, was held by Chasity Aniece Productions in Norwalk on Feb. 26.
