The preliminary competitions were held for Miss Connecticut and Miss Connecticut’s Teen on Friday night at the Mohegan Sun’s Cabaret Theater in Uncasville.
Miss Litchfield County Lindiana Frangu of Woodbury won the talent preliminary. Miss Wolcott Monica Fenwick of Watertown won the evening gown preliminary competition.
Miss Forestville’s Teen Camryn Patton won both the evening gown and talent preliminary competitions among the candidates in the teen category.
The finals will be held Sunday morning, June 18. The winner of the titles go on to compete at Miss America and Miss America’s Teen later this year. The dates and locations have not been announced for either event.
