Before her collection for EKB took to the runway during Extravaganza, the LGBTQ+ night organized by Sound of Fashion Week on Oct. 20 in Hartford, designer Erin Boyle said the nearly all-white clothes she was presenting were atypical for her particular aesthetic. But she was proud of what she created by taking a side step from her usual approach to fashion. When she was done, she said, the garments reminded her of 1970s-era resortwear.
