Owned by restaurateur, Lucy Buffett (sister of the late, great, Jimmy Buffett), Lulu’s boasts three locations (Destin, Fla., Gulf Shores, Ala. and, of course, the incredible North Myrtle Beach restaurant.
Lulu’s North Myrtle Beach has been exciting and delighting guests since its opening in 2018 with delectably fresh seafood and an exciting line up of live entertainment.
Featuring a large porch, an open air dining area, and a full-service bar, Lulu’s is both the quintessential destination for a relaxed lunch or dinner after a long day on the beach and a prime location for special events, birthdays, reunions and corporate gatherings. Lulu’s also takes pride in offering a specialized menu for guests with various food allergies, ensuring that each and every guest has a safe, enjoyable and customized experience.
I had the opportunity to return to this gem of the Grand Strand to bring you the best of the best cocktails, appetizers , entrees, and desserts you absolutely must try on your upcoming visit.
DRINKS:
Lulu’s is known for its carefully curated cocktails, featuring premium quality ingredients and discernibly unique flavors you can’t find anywhere else.
Some of our favorites:
IB’s MO Perfect Margarita: Margarittaville gold and silver tequilas, triple sec, dekuyper orange curaçao and muddled limes all join together to create, well, the perfect margarita.
Hurricane: A beach libation so iconic that Jimmy Buffett sang about it. This guest and staff favorite features a mixture of southern rum, southern comfort, raspberry liquor, and fruit juices.
Bushwacker: Best enjoyed with-or for-dessert- this decadently satisfying “adult milkshake” features Kahlua, rum, creme de cacao and cream of coconut.
STARTERS/APPETIZERS
A Mountain of Fried Okra: One of our all-time favorite Lulu’s menu items…so good, in fact, that we returned for a second helping. Featuring fried southern style okra with lulus house made ranch dressing…truly a southern staple.
Crazy Sistas Crab Dip: Featuring sweet claw meat, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, green onions and mayo served bubbling hot in mini cast iron skillet , with crispy fried tortilla chips
SOUP:
Shrimp and Corn Bisque: This soup is stick to your ribs satisfying and bursting with flavor. Lulu’s version of a coastal classic.
ENTREE:
Grilled Shrimp Tacos: This hearty and delightful entree is sure to please everyone in your group. Fish, pork and chicken options are also available. Featuring sumptuous three soft corn tortillas with jack cheddar cheese, shredded cabbage, pickled red onions, Island black beans, and mojo sauce.
DESSERT:
Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding: A rich and indulgent dessert featuring several Krispy Kreme doughnuts, served up with a side of sweet sauce.

LULU’S BEACH ARCADE AND ROPES COURSE:
Following your meal at Lulu’s Restaurant, head on over to Lulu’s Beach Arcade and Ropes Course, conveniently located right next door.
Featuring late night hours and endless opportunities to play state of the art arcade games (some of our favorites include Skee-Ball, Lane Masters Bowling, Ice Man-an outrageously fun water game where you can “ice blast” zombies in real time and Down The Clown) and win prizes such as various electronics, accessories, toys for the kids, and candies, Lulu’s is the arcade that ensures every guest leaves feeling like a winner.
The Lulu’s Ropes Course is an outrageously fun multi-tier course, chockful of surprises and adrenaline pumping challenges at every turn. Test your balancing skills on the rotating balance beam, walk the tight rope with precision, jump, skip and hop across the strategically placed “steps,” while taking in the serene sights and sounds of the beach down below. Once you’ve made it to the top, you’ll experience a pulse-pounding free fall, sure to get your heart racing and satisfy your appetite for heart pounding thrills.
