Lingerie brand La Plantureuse (http://laplantureuse.com) was born from a need.
Its founder, Amanda Henson, spent her life struggling to find a bra that fit.
After years of embarrassment, shame, and frustration, she received news no one wants to hear. Doctors found a lump in her breast. After testing, Amanda was in the clear, but the problem remained. An improper bra caused the false alarm.
After her health scare, Amanda decided enough was enough. While expressing her frustrations to her husband, he asked the simple question that started it all. “Why don’t you make your own?”
So she did.
