Chasity Aniece Productions continued to ramp up preparations for its February fashion show Afro Realm.
On Christmas Eve, they took to the beach at Bridgeport’s Seaside Park for a video and promo shoot. The models were given the brief that they were wise — and stylish — alien beings who have arrived on another planet.
Afro Realm will be held Feb. 18 from 2 to 10 p.m. at 635 New Park Ave #2f, West Hartford. Afro Realm, promo materials explains, is “a world where people of color reclaim our power and take over and heal the planet. Re-imagine a future flushed with art, science, and technology through a black cultural lens. Experience the incredible works of Afro-futuristic local and national artists.”
