Armelie Tolenga, 20, is the reigning Miss Black Ohio USA 2024.
Currently a college student majoring in art and photography at Miami University in Ohio. Armelie aspires to become a professional photographer and model. She also has a nonprofit organization name: House of Hope that helps young teen moms, widows and homeless. She recently launched an online store ”Ardy Beauty & Fashion” with her “Today Girl” gym collection intended to empower the young generation to set their own rules and believe in themselves.
“We all deserve a peaceful life,” said Armelie. “Nobody deserves to be bullied because of their appearance, weight, shape, or face. God created us different for a reason and our differences make us unique. (I want) to show the next generation that they can be the best and better version of themselves.”
