You could say Aliyyah Adio already was flying high before she turned to fashion.
The Nigerian-American model born in Oakland, Calif, is a pilot, aircraft dispatcher and a logistics coordinator for a business aviation company. Furthermore, the Atlanta-based woman is attending college to earn her bachelor’s in aviation science and management.
Aliyyah’s passion for fashion, she said, is “deeply rooted (in) my upbringing within a Nigerian cultural environment. I was heavily inspired by my fashionable mother who embodies a perfect blend of traditional elegance and a contemporary sense of style. Growing up, I was influenced by her culturally rich background, where fashion is not just a choice but a form of expression and celebration. Now, as I step into the modeling world, I aim to carry forward and elevate this cultural legacy.”
Aliyyah is a recent winner at Magnifique Showcase, which is organized by former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley.
