Tonight, June 22, a new Miss Connecticut and Miss Connecticut’s Teen will be crowned at Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield. But on the first night of festivities for the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization, Friday, June 21, the newest class of Garnet Girls received sashes and crowns from their Misses and Teens on stage as they stood before family and friends.
The Garnet Girls is the Little Sister program of the organization. It is designed for girls and boys ages 3-12. It is a non-competitive mentoring program.
