This can’t-miss event, which has quickly cemented its status as a standing Halloween tradition for thousands of guests from across the United States, is included in general park admission and has added even more displays and attractions to its already wildly impressive line-up.
The newest attractions, sure to excite and delight everyone in your party include the Garden of Giants (a display of enormous real pumpkins that weigh between 700 and 1,000 pounds), the immersive and illuminated wonder of Glow Grove, and Foggy Forest, creating a truly memorable experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
I was afforded the unique and exciting opportunity to return to this highly acclaimed seasonal event to provide the inside scoop regarding all the best sights, experiences, and tasty treats you absolutely must try during your visit to the Great Pumpkin Luminights.

Wild Adventures offers no shortage of opportunities to be entertained with an exhilarating array of shows and interactive events throughout the park. A few of our very favorites include the outstandingly talented Christopher Dunaway (you may follow his performances and adventures on Instagram @christopher_dunaway_aerial ), whose knockout, nearly half hour set included spellbinding performances on the Lyra, a stunning bit featuring the Chinese yoyo, a crowd participation segment in which he taught little ones how to juggle, and much more.
The Wild Adventures Safari train was transformed into menagerie of pumpkin displays for “Pumpkinville” and the Gallery of Pumpkins, featuring hand carved pumpkin displays paying homage to Wild Adventures legends, iconic and influential people in Georgia, and more for a dazzling spectacle that will leave you inspired and in awe.
A vast assortment of amusement opportunities are plentiful for the little ones, including trick or treating at various marked locations, a pumpkin-themed dance party, and Mayor Gourdan’s fall festival, which features a game show where a couple lucky young hand selected volunteers can showcase their best trendy dance moves and get competitive with a ball toss, fall themed trivia, and much much more.
