Alyssa Casa takes her ‘Beauty’ on a fashionable Christmas journey

Alyssa Casa took advantage of a “Beauty and the Beast” Christmas-themed shoot at Southington’s Cava Restaurant by not only posing for photos but by creating her own Belle-inspired gown and cape. The shoot was organized by Sherri Dvorkin Carter of Prestige Fashion Week. Carter has served as a mentor for Casa, showcasing her lines at New York Fashion Week.

Casa, who is an avid fan of the Disney film “Beauty and the Beast,” is a student at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Cava on West Street in Southington is known for its theme park-worthy decorations. For the holiday season, they are building upon their recent “Beauty and the Beast” inspired look by incorporating a glitzy and glamorous Christmas look.
