Young models traveled across the country for some New England styled Christmas fashion photos on a recent Saturday.
Sherri Dvorkin Carter, the driving force behind Prestige Fashion Week in New York, created a Christmas collection of gowns to celebrate the elegance of the season. And she used Cava, a restaurant in Southington known for its theme-park worthy decorations, as the backdrop. With Christmas on the horizon, Cava on West Street in Southington is featuring a “Beauty and the Beast”-inflected holiday decoration theme.
Meanwhile, models like Gabriella Brown and mother and daughter Summer and Brinley traveled from Mississippi to take a look at the bistro’s extravaganza. Adelynn Easton traveled from Las Vegas to be photographed. Meanwhile, Kylee and Lillian Kater kept within the New England region to participate. They came from Haverhill, Mass. near New Hampshire. And McKenna Norton just popped up the Merritt and I-84 to visit from Monroe, Conn.
The young models said the “Beauty and the Beast” theme at the restaurant was a definite attraction for the shoot. But they also said they were glad to indulge in their love of style as well. And they were enjoying Carter’s glitzy looks.
