There was more than fashion going on when Charjean Couture presented a day-long fashion show during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 8. The event also was a fundraiser to help NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) babies and their families.
The fashion show benefited Katie’s Angels, an organization founded by Charjean Couture’s designer Katie Davis. Davis, herself, is a NICU baby.
Before the evening fashion show for her line, Davis spoke about the process of organizing the show, the fashions she was presenting, the fashion influencers who gathered for the sake of the cause… and what it was like to be a NICU baby.
